Postgraduate Scholarships

The organising committee of Postharvest Pacifica would like to offer scholarships for Australian and New Zealand postgraduate students. 

We realise it can be a challenge for students to get to these conferences, and so in addition to the significantly reduced registration fee, we want to offer support to attend the conference. Scholarships will be NZ$1,000. These funds can be used for transport, e.g. airfares, or accommodation.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please email Christine Lamont (Christine.Lamont@plantandfood.co.nz) with a short reply to the following.

1. What University are you enrolled in, what is your Masters or PhD topic, and who is your supervisor (please include their contact details)
2. Why do you want to come to the conference (who do you want to talk to, and/or what information are you interested in)
3. What research will you present and how (i.e. oral, poster, workshop).

The money will be given to your research institute after you attend the conference. We will be in contact with your supervisor by email to discuss any issues that may arise, and payment method.

Deadline for receipt of scholarships is Monday 12 October.
