Electrical and Telecommunications Equipment

Electricity is supplied throughout New Zealand at 230 / 240 volts, 50 hertz. Most modern consumer electrical equipment (eg computers, camera chargers) should be supplied with 100-240volt switching power supplies but please check.  Other electrical equipment from a 110-volt system may need transformers. It is suggested you bring this with you as they are more readily available in your country of origin.

New Zealand has CDMA, GMS and 3G mobile networks. Check with your provider that you have a roaming agreement to New Zealand.

Wall phone jacks are British.

Wi-Fi networks are general available (at cost) at Airports, Hotels, Motels.

Napier War Memorial Conference Centre, 48 Marine Parade, Napier.

Transport

Napier is a 50 minute internal flight from the main international airport situated in Auckland.

Air New Zealand offers flights to Hawke's Bay Airport which is situated 10 minutes north of the City.

From Auckland, Napier can be reached via an approx 5.5 hour drive

Major rental car companies are represented at Auckland Airport.

Transport from Napier Airport
